The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) has today released three more reports (Volume II, III and IV) of the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census (KPHC).
Volume II – Distribution of Population by Administrative Units is the second report in the series of 2019 KPHC publications. It presents the distribution of enumerated population for each administrative unit (county, sub-county, division, location and sub-location) by sex, number of households, land area and population density. It also contains distribution of population by rural and urban areas of residence.
Volume III – Distribution of Population by Single Year, Sex and Administrative Units is the third report in the series of 2019 KPHC publications. It presents the distribution of enumerated population by single year and five-year age groups, sex and administrative unit (county and sub-county).
Volume IV – Distribution of Population by Socio-Economic Characteristics is the fourth report in the series of 2019 KPHC publications. It presents the distribution of enumerated population by socio-economic characteristics.
KNBS released the first volume of the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census (KPHC) that was conducted in August 2019 on 4th November 2019. The report presented the distribution of enumerated Population by; County and Sub-County, number of households; and average household size. It also contained population density by administrative units.
