Producer Price Index- Third Quarter 2025

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) hereby releases the Producer Price Index (PPI) for the third quarter of 2025. The PPI measures the average change over time in the selling prices received by domestic producers for their output.
The year-on-year producer inflation rate recorded in September 2025 was -0.79 per cent, with the Producer Price Index (PPI) reaching 134.78 during the same period. Figure 1 and Table 1 illustrate the trends in year-on-year producer inflation and corresponding PPI values from June 2022 to September 2025.
