Analytical Report on ICT based on the 2023-24 Kenya Housing Survey
About Report
Overview
The 2023/24 Kenya Housing Survey (2023/24 KHS) was a cross-sectional study that collected data for estimating housing indicators at national, rural, urban and county levels. This data provided a comprehensive analysis of housing conditions, affordability, and tenure across the country. Additionally, the survey collected indicators including ICT ownership, usage and adoption of smart technologies. This analytical report on ICT therefore presents the findings based on the 2023/24 KHS conducted by the KNBS in collaboration with CA. The objective of the ICT module in the survey was to generate nationally representative statistics
on ICT ownership and usage at both individual and household levels. These indicators provide critical insights to inform policies related to digital inclusion, socioeconomic development, and housing transformation
in line with Kenya Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
