KNBS and Mama Ngina University College sign MoU
The DG KNBS led a delegation to Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) in Gatundu, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The party was received by the MNUC Principal, Prof Zipporah Ng’ang’a.
Dr. Obudho and Prof. Ng’ang’a committed their respective institutions to the following areas of collaboration; joint research, mentorship, data sharing, and participation in national and international events.
DG was accompanied by Mr. Benjamin Avusevwa, Director, Statistical Coordination and Methods; Mr. John Bore, Head of NSS; Ms. Sarah Omache, Assistant Manager, NSS; and Mr. Ronald Kirui, Statistician, NSS.
A joint committee will be constituted to operationalize the MoU, which will run for five years.
The MoU with Mama Ngina University College marks the second MoU between KNBS and an institution of higher learning. The first was with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), signed in August, 2024.
